Stefano Armellini

Born in Padua on December 13, 1966, he graduated in Law with honors from the University of Padua in 1991.

He is enrolled in the Register of Lawyers of Padua since 1994.

After collaborating with the law firms of Carnelutti and Clifford Chance in 2004, he was one of the founders of the IBLA law firm in Padua and from 2018 he collaborated with Studio LTPartners, in the Padua office.

He has a solid professional experience in litigation and out-of-court matters, assisting both Italian and foreign clients in the fields of civil law (disputes and opinions on obligations, contracts, real rights, family, person and succession) of industrial property ( disputes and opinions on trademarks and patents), private international law (disputes and opinions in relation to cases of a transnational nature regarding obligations, real rights, persons, family and inheritances), food law (disputes and opinions regarding the origin and provenance of food products, hygiene and safety, counterfeiting and labeling) and sports law (disputes before courts and sports bodies generated by the non-payment of the fee for athletes’ sports performances).

He also deals with arbitrations both as a defender and as an arbitrator.

He combines the carrying out of the professional activity with the teaching activity and the preparation of publications on legal matters.

He is a Professor of private international law in the School of Specialization of Legal Professions organized by the University of Padua, as well as in various post-university masters and training courses organized by universities and other institutions.

He is also a Professor of Food Law in the interdisciplinary course set up by the University of Padua.

He is the author of a manual of private international law, now in its 13th edition and used as a textbook in many universities and for the preparation of lawyer exams, as well as numerous other publications on international law and the European Union.
